Description and Skills: The Inside Sales Representative for Cloud will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, selling cloud-based solutions, and driving revenue growth through direct sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, an understanding of cloud computing solutions, and a proven track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Qualification:
o Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels such as email, phone calls, webinars, and social media.
o Qualify leads based on specific criteria (e.g., industry, company size, needs).
o Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate client and sales activity data.
2. Sales Presentation:
o Conduct virtual product demonstrations and presentations to explain cloud services and solutions.
o Tailor presentations to meet the unique needs and challenges of potential clients.
o Address client concerns, objections, and questions effectively.
3. Sales Cycle Management:
o Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients throughout the sales cycle.
o Negotiate pricing, terms, and contract details to close deals.
o Follow up on leads and inquiries to convert them into sales.
4. Collaboration:
o Work closely with sales teams, marketing teams, and product experts to ensure alignment on messaging, leads, and product offerings.
o Assist in developing sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
5. Cloud Knowledge:
o Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
o Educate clients on cloud solutions, benefits, and potential use cases for their business.
6. Performance Metrics:
o Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs (e.g., calls, demos, conversions).
o Report sales progress and performance to management, including challenges and opportunities.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· Experience: 3 + years of experience in Telesales in the IT or cloud sales industry.
· Sales Skills: Strong cold-calling, negotiation, and closing abilities.
· Cloud Knowledge: Basic understanding of cloud services like SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and cloud infrastructure.
· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex cloud solutions in a simple and persuasive manner.
· CRM Tools: Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
· Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
· Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
· Existing Database & relationship preferred.
