A global IT services company with complex infrastructure requirements across multiple sites sought to modernize its datacenter operations. With an aging traditional 3-tier architecture causing performance bottlenecks and increasing management overhead, the company turned to Wysetek for a more agile, scalable, and centrally managed solution. Wysetek implemented Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) to deliver next-gen performance, streamlined provisioning, and simplified operations.
Challenge
The client’s infrastructure was spread across six locations, using legacy architecture that lacked centralized visibility and required significant manual effort for day-to-day operations. VM provisioning delays, scalability issues, and performance concerns were escalating with increasing business demands. The absence of automation and business continuity mechanisms further hampered agility.
Wyse Solution
Wysetek architected and deployed Nutanix HCI clusters on Dell hardware with optimized NVMe and hybrid configurations—designed separately for critical and non-critical workloads. A total of 14 Nutanix clusters and 75 servers were rolled out across six locations. Unified management was established using Prism Central, while Calm enabled automated VM provisioning. Replication across key sites was configured to support business continuity and resilience.
Impact
The transition to Nutanix HCI dramatically improved operational agility and efficiency. The company significantly reduced power, cooling, and space usage while eliminating complex vendor sprawl. Centralized control and real-time visibility improved IT responsiveness, while automated provisioning cut down time-to-delivery for new workloads. With seamless scalability and built-in resilience, the organization is now better equipped for future growth and continuity.
