Cloud computing is the future for software business in India with SMB benefitting the most, says Sameer Narsapurkar, GM – Software Sales, Wysetek Systems Technologists.
Wysetek has been a network partner of Microsoft for many years and recently the SI company is now focusing more and concentrating on Microsoft business.
The different products, solutions and services Wysetek sells to its customers includes Office 365, MS Azure, Windows, Windows server, SQL server, Visual studio, Office 2019 standard, Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
Microsoft contributes approx. 5 % to overall revenues for Wysetek out of total revenues but the company is optimistic of increasing the percentage substantially this year.
Cloud products and services like Office 365 and MS Azure is witnessing an uptake across Indian companies. Cloud computing is the future for software business in India, target segment who get benefited most using cloud platforms are SMB, says Sameer Narsapurkar, General Manager – Software Sales, Wysetek Systems Technologists. “They will go for cloud services due to below reasons of Cost, Productivity, Scalability and flexibility and Avaibility (access to data anywhere, anytime),” says Sameer.
There is faster adoption of Microsoft Cloud in verticals of manufacturing and retail due to Opex model and reduce initial cost of investment in IT infra as per Sameer.
Wysetek sell Microsoft products and solutions through its account managers in existing accounts. The KRA will be customer acquisition for Microsoft products, says Sameer who manages the product range of Microsoft.
“We need to focus on the customers who purchased hardware like servers and desktops as we need to approach them proactively for windows and office products, as they will definitely purchase these solutions due to our existing relationship with them,” says Sameer.
The top products from MS which Wysetek sells more to enterprises includes Windows server, SQL server and Office 365.
There is an upsell opportunity for Wysetek customers through a wide MS portfolio including Windows Server, SQL Server, Windows, Share Point, Exchange, Dynamics 365. Sameer agrees, “We can sell to our existing customers who will purchase hardware from us and looking for other software vendor. We should also develop skill set in services for exchange and SharePoint.”
The technology trends like collaboration, cloud will increase the uptake of MS products in the marketplace like SharePoint for Collaboration, Exchange for mailing, Azure for Infra as service and office for software as a service, says Sameer at Wysetek.
